English Sucks
This is why Englsh is hard to learn for foreigners!! There is no egg in eggplant or ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins were not invented in England nor french fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square, and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce, and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So, one moose, 2 meese? One index, two indices? Is cheese the plural of choose? If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?!In what language do people recite at a play, and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? Park on driveways and drive on parkways? How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell another? When a house burns up, it burns down. You fill in a form by filling it out and an alarm clock goes off by going on. When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I wind up this answer, I end it? Now you see why it takes 3-7 times as long to learn English as it does to learn Spanish and why English sucks!!

Hey chicas and chicos...im guessing mostly chicas haha well this friday is the winter dance and everyone is starting to freak out haha idk what im doing...well i think im goign to mandas after and yeah. that should seriously be a blast haha i need that. umm....welll....i hate my parents...nothing new....umm...was it just me or were two certain people getting cozy at the bball game tonight? haha (wiggling my eyebrows) muahaha...if you dont know who im talking about then dont worry about it....haha me and jill are starting to collect rocks to throw..la de freaking da...i cant wait haha...well manda was the first to call me! haha i love you manda and jill comes in second cuz she called me at the game! haha love you too jill! ummm.....yeah i was trying to pay attention to the game but the chances of that were very slim sitting next to A, S, M, J and D haha i find abbreviation is much more easy....i guess i can take out the D cuz he wasnt really talking to us...ummm lol...idk what else to say...uhh.....life sucks without my dew.....im about to collapse from the pressure and I HAVE NO WAY TO CALM MY NERVES GOSH DARN IT. haha its getting bad. :| only one more week and im out ash haha...blah...it doesnt matter after that! im so gosh darn fugly im not sure why im going to the dance in the first place...but yeah....well i guess thats about all...kisses. later
